A LOOK BACK AT OUT OF ASHES MINISTRY
2017 has been an incredible year of ministry as we stepped out in faith both around the United Kingdom and the globe.
Throughout the year we witnessed God carrying out his perfect redemptive plans in peoples lives by allowing us to minister to the lost, broken and busted of this world! I know you will be aware that i’m only able to show you a snap shot of the ministry that took place in schools, rehabs, prisons and preaching of the gospel in numerous churches. Early in the year we carried out an 11 day evangelistic mission in Chelm Poland, it was here we witnessed Gods supernatural blessings as both young and old surrendered to Jesus. We were blessed to return to Poland later in the year to continue Gods favour upon us in this country, this time ministering in the city of Szczecin. In October I was invited to join Tim Paton in Cambodia for a 3 week evangelistic mission, what an incredible time this was ministering in four major cities. In November I was invited by Pastor Gary Holdcroft to partake in a 14 day evangelical ministry tour of Ghana.
The first polish city we visited was Chelm which is situated in the far east of Poland and is very close to the Ukraine border. Later in the year we were able to minister in the northern city of Szczecin, which is very near to the baltic sea. In both cites we shared in churches both evangelical and catholic, in prisons, schools again mostly catholic and children’s orphanages. We travelled great distances on this mission but it was worth every mile as we witnessed the Holy Spirit touching peoples lives. What a blessing to see God move powerfully amongst his beloved children. In Szczecin we supported Helen Stainsby in her mission to reach out to addicts most of who live out on the streets. We preached in churches and polish prisons as well as sharing in schools and in a maritime University.
In July I was interviewed on TBN a christian TV network based in London, this christian channel goes out to millions around the world. Since my interview I’ve received emails and texts from people including one person who states “Seeing your interview has given me much renewed hope that God has a future for my life, a hope I lost a few years ago”
The Out of the Ashes Stage Play tour that took place all over the UK, during the summer proved to be a success as the team received much positives feedback!! One leader of a church came to the front after the performance and actually broke down in tears. Such a powerful presence of God! Also whilst performing in London a couple from the music industry came forward and stated that they would like to look at the play being adapted into a stage play musical. We meet in Jan 2018 to discuss how we can go move forward with a possible musical production. (Col 4.5)
In Sep we moved to Newport in South Wales. This calling was answering the call of God on our lives. As a ministry we refuse to stand still, especially when we hear the good shepherds voice saying “come follow me and ill make you fishers of men” (Mark 1 16.20)
Over the last few years we have developed a very good relationship with a church in SW so much so that the leaders of this church felt very strongly that God had ask them to invite us to join them in targeted evangelism in South Wales and beyond. Recently we bought a 4 bed house in Newport, this move also allows us to be mortgage free. (please note that we still value your continued financial support in fuelling the ministry throughout 2018.
It’s only by the grace of God that i’m delighted to inform you that I’ve completed all our UK church, prison ministry engagements for 2017 and missions overseas to Poland x 2 – Cambodia and Ghana.
